Blizzard and Adobe Utilize AI Technology as a Collaborative Tool for Humans

Tech giants Adobe and Activision Blizzard have launched generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist humans in creating content. Adobe’s “Generative Fill” allows users to generate content from inside Photoshop with a text prompt, while Activision Blizzard is exploring the use of an image-generating AI to assist in game design. Both companies have emphasized that the AI tools are intended to be co-pilots alongside humans rather than to replace them. The developments come as concerns are raised over potential job losses due to the advancement and adoption of AI. However, some experts argue that the technology could create a similar amount of new jobs to those that are lost.
